Anyone have any idea why this show was a 4pm start? - It finished in daylight

well, they played Leeds the following night, so maybe needed the time to tear-down, transport & set-up at Roundhay. Unusual to play stadium gigs on consecutive nights in different cities....
There is a debate about this going on Ticket Stub Club on Facebook. It seems they were using the two stage "leapfrog" approach by then. Also the stage ( plus lights?) at Wembley was left for Live Aid. Perhaps it was just to get the E Street instruments up there on time? Not the same when a show ends in daylight.
Interesting...there was also the issue of Dire Straits playing the Arena that week, so maybe council were trying to ease congestion on traffic, underground, etc, by asking them to stagger start/end times?
Stage was left for Live iad
It was due to travel to Leeds
Great show though. i was knakcered after all 3 and getting to venue at 04.30 each morning

You were a wee bit upset cuz you couldn't get any of that blood red drink you like so much.
