Springsteen played a two-hour set, backed by Bobby Bandiera's band, along with Max Weinberg on drums for about half the show. Bruce said "I need shots of tequila" before playing Cadillac Ranch. Layonne Holmes guests to sing lead on "The Boy From New York City", while Bandiera takes most of the vocals on "From Small Things (Big Things One Day Come)". After 4th Of July, Asbury Park (Sandy) Bruce talked about how great Asbury Park is now and it's a good spot to spend a few hours. That Madam Marie's booth is still there and to check out Convention Hall. A solo acoustic guitar version of "Thunder Road" closes the 22-song set.
