Well - he's talking about it.

Although Bruce didn't bring his Broadway show to Europe, the 14 month residency at the Walter Kerr theatre will have been good for him. It seems what we read in the Born to Run autobiography was the basis of the show. Still he turns 70 next year and we need a celebration tour in 2019 - 20 of BIUSA & Atlantic City. We will make the effort then to catch a couple of US shows.
While I really enjoy going to his more recent shows, I really hope he comes out with a new album that is strong enough to tour off of (meaning the tour doesn't evolve into a nostalgia tour). It would be great if the album was fantastic and that the old songs he picked, fit with the theme of the new album.
He says he has done a new album, & will tour next year. Definately coming to Europe too. That will be a better tour than the 2016 River tour which I missed. The 2012 - 13 Wrecking Ball shows were great.
But then we have to believe Bruce will your with th E Street Band in 2020. He can still release his new original album though. We have much to look forward to.
My translation of this is new album (spring) and BITUSA box (summer) with a possibility of a second new album towards the end of the year (hopefully with the E Street Band for the tour in 2020.)
We will just have to wait and see what Bruce releases next year. I look forward to receiving Springsteen On Broadway the doule cd next week. And being able to finally watch the show on Netflix from December 16th. Seems he isn't releasing a dvd of it.
Already seen this notice from Bruce.
