Springsteen on Broadway: Bill, Hillary Clinton see show after bomb scare, before birthday
If you’re Hillary Clinton, you go see “Springsteen on Broadway “ with husband President Bill Clinton. The Clintons were spotted in the audience of the Thursday, Oct. 25 performance of the hit Bruce Springsteen music play at the Walter Kerr Theatre, according to TMZ and social media postings.
The Clintons drew a loud cheer as they waved to fans upon entering their box seats next to the stage .
“Oh my God!” exclaimed one fan.
A package with a pipe bomb addressed to Hillary Clinton was discovered on Tuesday, Oct. 23 near the Clintons’ home in Chappaqua, New York, north of New York City. No one was hurt.

“Thank you to the @SecretService and all law enforcement agencies who responded to this week’s incidents,” tweeted Bill Clinton on Wednesday, Oct. 24. “They work tirelessly to keep our country and communities safe. I am forever grateful for their efforts.”
Mail bombs were sent to several prominent Democrats and critics of President Donald Trump, including President Barack Obama, this week.
Hillary Clinton turned 71 on Friday, Oct. 26. It is not known if the “Springsteen on Broadway” performance was a birthday gift, but it seems likely.
Springsteen campaigned for Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election.
A request for comment from Springsteen’s spokesperson was not returned as of press time.
