Yeah, it's another gay music thread.

Think of this as a variation on the old 'what one album would you want on a desert island' bit. What 12 songs (or even performances) can you absolutely not go without fir the rest of your life? Studio cuts, unreleased songs, concert recordings. All artists, all genres. Disregard how much space a blank CD holds, just 12 tracks that would get you through. If you're like yigba, and you've got a country song, 11 versions of Backstreets live, and an acoustic No Surrender for homoerotic remembrances, then so be it.

If I can only take with me 12 tracks to a desert island, it would have to be from 12 of the popular music genres that's most important to me at the moment, to get some variety. Next month it would be a different list, both genres and tracks:

1. Black Metal: Gorgoroth - Exit Through Carved Stones, or really any track from ''Twilight Of The Idols''
2. Rock: Bruce Springsteen - Incident On 57th Street
3. Rock/pop: The Beatles - Hello Goodbye. A random pick, there's just too much to choose from.
4. Folk: Gaate - Kara Tu Omna
5. Heavy Metal: Black Sabbath - Hole In The Sky
6. Progressive rock: King Crimson - Larks' Tongues In Aspic, the ''The ConstruKction Of Light'' version(s).
7. Trip-Hop: Dot Allison - Colour Me
8. Jazz: Miles Davis - So What
9. Semi-industrial Progressive Death Metal: Meshuggah - Catch Thirtythree (a 47 min. track in 13 parts)
10. Doom Metal: Candlemass - A Sorcerer's Pledge, or really any track from ''Epicus Doomicus Metallicus''
11. Thrash Metal: Slayer - South Of Heaven
12. Space Rock: 35007 - 20 09, or really any track from ''Phase V''
