My first Bruce show was in Montreal on Friday, January 23, 1981.

It was a life changing moment for me. I was almost 19. 46 days earlier, on December 8, 1980, I lost my guru when John was killed.
A few hours before the show, my friend took a picture of me standing in front of some graffiti that read "John Lennon 1940-1980."
That night, I found my new guru.
