Reply to "The Meaning of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Rhinestone Cowboy’"

I'm not familiar with the writer or story (stories) you to which you are referring. I think MOST people are sure of the artistic greatness of Springsteen. I've seen statements from those all over the political spectrum calling Bruce and many others out on their hypocritical stances of income equality (specifically), taxation and other related leftist ideology. I am sometimes surprised at the criticisms because it typically only takes a (relatively) small virtue signal of donation to a cause to mollify the criticism.
