A friend of mine/my daughters was buying her daughter a birthday cake. (this was within a week ago) someone in a hoodie in line behind her said "oh you're buying a cake is it someone's birthday?" she replies - yes, it is my daughter's 10th birthday. The mysterous person in a hoodie said "I'd like to buy the cake for you". She said "No, that's okay - I got it". He insisted - she said "no, really - it's okay". He said "you know, it is okay to let someone do something nice for you for your daughter's birthday". She relented. She looked at the cashier puzzled - the male cashier told her "That was Troy Polamalu". So that is her daughter's forever 10th birthday memory ... the week before the Superbowl - Troy buys her a cake. So at least someone is stimulating the economy.
