Clearmountain spent another 2 mixing

and it finally saw the light of day as a b-side in 1988

Just like The Promise, got dumped in favor of newer compositions

There is nobody like Bruce Springsteen, greatest songwriter of 20th century

No not Irving Berlin or Gershwin, they are 2nd and 3rd at best

Bruce has the luxury of more choices for his albums --- Many more!
