Is anyone else frustrated with Nugs ‘25% off sale’?

It appears that you now have to subscribe to their streaming service before you qualify for a 25% off holiday discount! In addition, they have raised their long standing regular $23 price (that they still say is the ‘typical 3-CD price’ under search for question solutions) to $26.99 for 3-CD sets (a 13% increase) AND NOW, the same price is set for smaller 2CD sets, and a 1 CD like Mountain View 1986 is now $24.99). The price has become $29.99 for quad sets.

I have not purchased (or browsed to purchase) any shows since their $15 sale, so I don’t exactly know when the price hike first occurred, but a 13% price hike preceding a “25% discount sale” is a fraudulent joke.

I don’t need to be lured into a ‘first month free’ gimmick that makes ME responsible for cancelling in order to get a rip-off ‘benefit’. I am beginning to think that this is the way Bruce & Co. have devised to ‘apologizing’ for the dynamic pricing ticket fiasco.

Please correct me once again if I am missing something - but I get the feeling that after lackadaisically ripping off fans who want to see him in concert, he is now merrily shoving it to the fans of live recordings. At the very least,  announce a Nugs price increase in advance, make it reasonable, and don’t hide it behind a long time regularly anticipated sale and make it a shill.

Maybe Bruce is now encouraging fans to share official downloads instead of buying them individually. Bootleggers, roll your tapes.
