David Sancious, a Monmouth County native and an original E Street Band member, has scheduled a rare Asbury Park concert. It will take place Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. at The Saint, and also feature drummer Will Calhoun (best known as a member of Living Colour).
Other dates on Sancious and Calhoun’s Open Secret Tour will include The Iridium in New York, Nov. 11 at 8:30 p.m.

Sancious, 64, played keyboards on Springsteen’s first two albums (Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J. and The Wild, The Innocent & the E Street Shuffle) as well as on the title track of Born to Run. He left the E Street Band in 1974 to form his own jazz-fusion band, Tone, and subsequently worked with Peter Gabriel, Sting, Eric Clapton, Stanley Clarke, Jon Anderson (of Yes), Jack Bruce and many others.
