so....i think i can "rip it," if you give me a little help. As i mentioned above, I do have the VLC media player on my computer right now. When i play a disc or a movie, etc, i use the VLC player to play them all. I am very familiar with the VLC app. So...if i put the DVD disc#1 in my player, and it begins to play on VLC media player....can I use the VLC media player to somehow copy the contents of the DVD? -- or would that method cause some quality loss---if that is the case, ie, if using VLC media player is NOT feasible to transfer the disc# 1 to you, then i need some help telling me a method how to rip it WITHOUT losing quality
