This show is a good candidate for a box set release. Around 3 hours long so that it will fit on one Blu-ray. Recorded in HD with professional sound. Would be a good choice for him.

I wouldn't doubt it one bit if it does make it into a boxset.

plus with the crowd and then just the whole atmosphere of it being the HRC

I sure did, fantastic!
a fairly standard set on the whole but loads of energy and probably the best quality sound i have heard since the Tom Joad acoustic tour.
Wembley was echoey muck by comparison, it was crisp and clear where i was stood. Should bode for some decent boots.

In haste - Decent performance - but the sound sucked where we were, to right  of stage close-ish to front. Too much base and no  guitars in mix

Hard Rock Calling  was just as dreadful as previous years - drunks, constant chatter, human traffic etc

MLD was some sort of joke? Awful end.

Nils' Guitar was not on at the beginning of Shackled  so that will stuff up the broadcast.

I don't have the energy to do another rant a la 2012 HRC.... Moo.

I was at Paris yesterday, 9/10 as a Bruce  concert experience - today 2/10.

In other news ... Essex Boy Ricoh and Hampden on Dime can someone do the  honours for Jungleland?

Blessed Day

The wind hardly helped the sound, but it still seemed better than Wembley where I was.

Horrific show, with few redeeming features. The Nebraska triple-play was good (more collective than the individual parts), and JL was spot on. But the first half was rushed, the audience was terrible, and the stale second half become even more tiresome with a weird and frankly average Lucky Day to end.

The nostalgia fest continues. Bruce and the band need a long break.

Where I was the Sound and Crowd were so  poor (one chap spent 95% of the time with his back to the stage)  that I almost left during the kiddie sing along ... after a comfort break I decided to stay, further back by the relay towers the sound was 100% improved. I hung around in hope of the encores redeeming the set, which for me they did ( Jungleland now 4 from 5 since SSB tour)

I don't think I have seen such sheer enjoyment in the crowd as there was during American Land - BITUSA went down a storm ... for 95% they got everything they wanted ... we are irrelevant in the world of Bruce an annoying fly buzzing in his ear .... a few more shows like this and he'll have wiped us out

Probably done too may shows, but Paris & London. was maybe a bridge too far.  BITUSA two nights on the bounce did hurt a bit.  I think Bruce & the band are on auto pilot, even the back catalogue he is playing is tired, lets face it they can play all those songs standing on their head.!! How much of a treat are the albums, not much in my view, most of BITUSA gets played most nights, BTR & Darkness have formed the backbone of the set list for some time.  Having said all that, from Bruce's viewpoint whenever he says he's going to play BITUSA or BTR the crowd goes ape shit, so maybe he is giving the people what they want.? I think the tour has gone on too long & its showing in these performances.

Two kinds of people in this world, those who love Bruce & those who have never seen him play live!!

Two kinds of people in this world, those who love to watch Bruce in concert  & those who think they are the entertainment

For the record ... I don't want to hear you chat, I don't want your fucking smart phone in my face (those wobbly videos from fifty yards that are 90% other folks heads/arms/phone great I bet you watch them all the time), have you not realized the more you drink the more times you'll need the toilet and have to push past everybody ... please learn some respect for those who go to watch the band listen to the music

have to say strong opening 3 - although amazed he did BITUSA - but really enjoyed it - awful sound where I was - so bad I didn't even recognise the beginning of BTR - guess the show was rushed and not the best for me -  but the Nebraska treble was excellent - all all in some fantastic moments but agree was most little bit auto-pilot and tired. whlst I like Lonesome day - totally lost most of the crowd!!

You may be right but look at Wembley. He can do it.

She said last night she read those letters...
And they made her feel one hundred years old...

I thought the start of the gig was poor. The technical issues and unfamiliar Hard Rock stage made them struggle and an unrehearsed Reason To Believe flummoxed them. I was in line with Nils, towards the back of the concrete before the start of the grass. Sound was variable, Bruce's vocals and Steve's guitar were clear but the rest seemed a bit of a mush (especially on BTR and Lonesome Day). I think that because of all this and the tiny screens the crowd took a long time to get into it. Having said all this, I enjoyed still it - Jungleland was perfect (although I had to ask a drunken arsehole behind me to shut up). Lucky Day was nicely done, but I think most people would have preferred him to stick with Thunder Road as was planning. When he walked off there were a lot of people around me looking baffled and wondering why the gig was over at 10:15

Stood waiting for a few minutes thinking they would come back on and finish the gigwith a flourish.

Still a good day and even tho bitusa isn't my fave by a longshot was still good to hear stuff I haven't played in over 10 years other than live at a gig,

He did play Jungleland!!!!

I think its' time to cut the set list, cut out some of the Fat we could all come up with a two hour set list that would leave fans of all types happy, We don't every song song to finish-three-four times the horns don't need extended solos all the time ... the Magic show at the O2 knocked spots off most of the shows since ... it's all become too bloated ... the sets ... the bands ... the fans ... back to basics for all ... I was on the train and Robbie Williams was on at Wembley and many of the fans seemed to have a copy of that nights show on CD ... how great ...

And I don't need my view blocked for a third of the set by your gurning bloody girlfriend on your shoulders.

yep, these festival shows sound really fantastic (eye roll)..

Like the guy said earlier, bloat has set in.  Seems to be a disconnect between all the glowing stuff the band & the Springsteen media machine is saying about these shows, and what the audience is actually experiencing,

It's now on JL.

I'm changing BB provider on monday to unlimited download so not going to get it just yet. I'd be interested in anyone's comments on the sound quality of this boot. It sounds like a lot of people found the quality at the gig pretty poor but I was in a sweet spot. If the taper found somewhere like that the quality will be pretty good.
