Got an email saying that the show will start on time (@7:30) due to the metro shutting down at midnight due to track work.  Get there on time folks (just in case).

Same information on the Nationals Park website.

Oh yeah, great start. WOW. Keep it going Boss!

Maybe I'll get rewarded in Philly for missing MetLife3.

Yep I think you just might!!

I would expect (and hope for your sake)  this last run of shows through to Foxborough, MA will be epic!

I clocked the show at 3:45.  He started at 8:00 and gave folks 15 minutes to catch the Metro. lol

A very, very nice show sort of a combo of NJ Nt 2 and 3.  The crowd didn't quite have the gusto like his homies in the Meadowlands.  I did get three of my top 5 favorites in one show, NYCS, LITF & Incident so I really can't complain about anything.  A really good pit and the weather was excellent.  A bit of rain before the show and a sprinkle during.  Just enough to cool us off.  The sound was very clear up front much more so than Metlife.  There was an echo in the outfield which is always there due to the configuration and where the stage is.  All in all another fantastico show.

I'd write more but I have a plane to catch in the morning as my little darlin' is getting married on Saturday.

This must have been a terrific show last night. Can people who are going to these remaining stadium  shows in the US, be happy Bruce is returning to his home country 5 months since he played there last! We were glad in the UK & Europe there were many shows to see this year. I couldn't go but saw the Coventry 2013 show & Manchester 2012 too. I met him at the NEC in 1999 & have seen him 8 times now since 1988 on the Tunnel of Love tour. We know Bruce lives for his concerts & the fans, but he still must be one of the best to see even at almost 67! I want to see him in the US next time & will enjoy that I know.

This was really an amazing show, probably the best I have ever been to.  This was roughly my 15th show and I got to see 7 songs I have never seen live before and 2 of them were right at the top of my wish list (Incident and LITF):

New York City Serenade, Summertime Blues, Lost in the Flood, Incident on 57th Street, BETTER DAYS (tour premiere), Downbound Train, I'm on Fire, Secret Garden

I don't think NYCS is a good show opener (at least here in DC).  It's a bit slow, very few people knew the song and the crowd just did not connect with it.  It would have been much better in a mid-set slot.  I agree with Oats that the crowd was fairly flat until Hungry Heart then they started to get into it a bit more.  It took until the last few songs before the entire stadium was on their feet rocking it.

It's amazing how many songs he played off of his first 2 albums.  It seemed like he busted out all of his epic long story songs like NYCS, LITF, Jungleland, Kitty's Back, Incident.  I really can't believe I just went to a show where all of those songs were played.

Lastly, 3 hours and 46 minutes with no freeking let up.  No long pause for applause, no long PSA,  no go off the stage for 2 minutes to build suspense to see if they will come back.  I just can't believe Bruce and the band can pull that off, even in their 20's they didn't do that.  It was so amazing to see.  We were in the club level and were watching security people on the field.  One lady seemed like she was having a ball while one guy kept looking at his watch shaking his head clearly ready to call it a night after Born to Run.  He was in dismay during the never ending version of "Shout".  Also, the cleanup crew took to the field and visitors bullpen during Jungleland, thinking the show was going to end imminently.  Boy were they wrong.
