Thank you to my SPL family No other place I'd rather be (besides at an actual show that is) then right here bantering and reading / listening to the show.

With my Bruce Family.

Thanks so much for the tapers and filmers who gave us such wonderful stuff this amazing tour.

OK, I'll say it...

I know it was a great show, lots of energy and I doubt anyone left wanting...and it's quality not quantity...BUT...

Sub 3 hours for the last show??

Cheers,

Hazy

I was shocked when the lights came up. He never introduced the band, the final bow was rushed and half assed. He didn't do the heart stopping bit... He just said, you just saw the e street band, and that was that. It was very anticlimactic. The encores to me felt rushed like he just wanted to go home. It was really weird.

When in Hollywood visit Universal Studios

hazy, would Oats have preferred a 3 hour plus set or 7 angels, I'm going for 7 angels.....to be fair quite a full on set, no real let up in pace and least not forget he's sixty fxxkin*four.

*apologies if my swearing offends...

its been a great mini tour, with downloads a plenty to keep those memories a fresh, sure we see some DVDs whether comp or single show**

**certain German diplomat in the house the last two shows!

What a show. But you know that. I agree with pedrojunkie that something seemed rushed about getting the band off the stage. Bruce hung around for Dream Baby Dream. I wonder if there was some kind of end-of-the-tour party going on tonight, which might even explain the decision to have the last show at a casino (which has lots of private party space).

Anyway, I loved it, especially that sweet little girl and her Santa Claus sign. For a few minutes there, we were back in December, with snow falling and sparkly Christmas lights.

They played one of Justin's favorites, Murder Inc., and Jungeland, which he'd hoped to see at Fenway but got tonight.

I'm happy about the show, sad about the end of the tour, hopeful that maybe Bruce wasn't just babbling when he indicated they'd be seeing us again.

It's been a long time comin' but now it's here
Yeah, now it's here

Thanks TD, glad you guys enjoyed.

Yeah, so what happened after Badlands and before he crashed into BTR?

Anything? That's when it happened I think, the rush I mean.

Cheers,

Hazy

Well yes, given the choice I think we all know what Oats would prefer

I was up in sec 107... The band seemed ready to play another song.  I am not sure if it was a party, if JL was so emotional, or, if Bruce was just gassed.  He threw so much unto this show, and even though we got The. Rising, there was no down moment in there entire show.

Steves influence in the setlist was the key to. bringing the last two shows to an incredible level.

BTW! I did not like Jump in Dallas at all.  Toms solo on it tonight made the song tremendous...

and Bruce did mention how he had seen the 7 Angels song at the last ten shows.

and a final, "we will be seeing ya" to end the night.  We can only hope...

One more thing: Seeing Maureen Van Zandt pulled out of the crowd to dance with Bruce made me smile, All night, it was as if Bruce could not cater enough to Stevie. It made me wonder if he thought this might be the last time he could be sure that Stevie would be with the band.
