Right, so how was the wailing at the end of JL? Powerful?

That will be an indicator, maybe?

I was just thinking about the hugs with Jake, who looked like he was going to cry after Bruce clearly told him something kind after the beautiful job he did. Bruce did seem very emotional at the end of JL. I think he was both worn out and a bit overcome.

Big thanks to all who brought us the setlist. Fastastic job

I had to read the setlist twice and I'm still not sure what has happened. 7 tour premieres and one world premiere (congrats to Oats for Seven Angels). Loose Ends and Murder Inc. (two of my favs), Frankie and so on.

Simply massive.

Surely Steve had a big influence on both nights. So many songs where he was in the spotlight. And from the videos floating around you can see how important he is for Bruce.

I think this is not the end of the ESB. But it grew the size of a small town so it might be a good idea to think about the future shape of the band. With all the acoustic tracks played lately there may be a solo tour in his mind.

So thanks to all involved bringing us the WB/Hiho tours over last two years. What a journey. And of course to all of the SPL-family. It was great fun to watch, comment, discuss, argue, hope (or fear) the setlists. I'll surely miss that.

Now Bruce take deep breath and think about your future plans. If you're running out of ideas just ask us here on the SPL .

He must of gotten word half way through the show then.Because the first half is not what you would expect from a man whos mom isn't doing well.

And the first night was a great show as well.

So if this is true...

he had to have gotten word late in the main set.

I pray everything is ok and that it was just over whelming for him and he was truly just spent of energy.

I know it's all conjecture but I can't see anyone telling Bruce in the middle of the show that his Mom isn't well.  I mean, if she really is ill, what sense would it make to tell him during the show, it wouldn't make a difference.  I hope she's OK and that it's just exhaustion.  Look at what he does every night, that has to take its toll on a man about to apply for Medicare.

"We want to take a moment and thank yourselves for coming out and seeing us, I appreciate the support after all of these years. And I want to thank all the four million-plus people that have seen us on the Wrecking Ball/High Hopes tour. They made this simply one of the greatest musical stretches of our lives, when we're coming out of hard times, and I can't thank all of them and all of you enough. So while we're apart, just remember... Dream baby dream…" - Bruce Springsteen May 18, 2014

That's what I was saying to.

I can't see anyone killing his vibe in the middle of the final show.

Even after the main set he was having way to much fun

he is just totally spent.

Hi all, just woke up.  I'm glad I wasn't dreaming.  No time now for a big review or post gotta get back to NJ.

One thing though, one of our group overheard John Landau earler in the day talking about the show ending early.  I believe Hobie is right and the 11:00pm curfew was in effect at Mohegan Sun. It may b e a tribal thing, I'm not sure but that's what happened.  It appears everything closes there at 11:00pm on Sunday.  We had to travel 20 miles to eat afterwards.

I stand corrected.

I actually did think to myself if the casino was on Indian land there could be a 11 pm shut down.

but dismissed it because I didn't think there was any reservations.Thats when I put if anything they are designed to make you lose track of time.

Thank you for posting this,

and Thank you, Bruce for saying "while"...

Yes that s good to read and hear fro sure.

The thing that worries me is

is that we're...is he speaking about HIMSELF and the fans...

or about him and the band ?

That is yet to be seen or heard.
