This is what we waited almost 3 months for?? I hope a rumor is all it is....
On BTX, she's infamously known for starting false rumors.
I am so sick of posts on message boards or FB where rumour's source is someone on BTX. The LAST place to get reliable information
That's precisely why something like xxplugged makes no sense. It was already mixed for release. If they wanted to release it, it would have taken no time to finish it. I don't think we'll get that.
If it did come out (and why would it?) I'm not sure how "full" it would be either. Edits all over the place one assumes........

They transferred the digital source to a 30 year old analog stereo tape, then they used the Plangent Process and mastered everything at Gateway Mastering. Okay, maybe not.

Not quite 30 years...please don't make me feel that old. That would make the drummer in that band about 43 now.

If you look at the chronological order of the releases, what tour would be next?
But the releases have not been chronological.
2012
1978
1975
1980
1984
1988
While there is a pattern of late, using my best Nate Silver (538.com) magic, I'd say there is only a 99.3% of a 1992-93 release next.
After the old ones he should release the power of the E Street Band since the reunion. I would love to hear something from the reunion tour, the rising tour and the magic tour. Very powerful and with Danny and Clarence in the band.
XXplugged doesn't make sense. Up to now he has no show released from his archives, which was partly released before. Not even a single song, or am I wrong. XXplugged was already officially released (big parts of it).
Several songs from the 12/31/80 were previously released on Live 75-85, plus Merry Christmas Baby.

If you go to the nugs.net website and look at the archived shows that were released. The are presented on the site in the order they were released. Look at that and you will realize they are being released in tour order. Now whether or not XXplugged is considered part of the tour is another matter. However it's definitely a lead in and if the River Box is released next, it sort of makes sense. That being said: Who the F _ _ k knows what's going on?
It's a little surprising to me that anyone takes rumors about the next archive release seriously, considering the fact that 99.99% of the fanbase was convinced one Tunnel show was to be released, right up to (maybe after!) people started downloading the show it actually turned out to be.
But since I enjoy speculation as much as anybody, I'll throw my hat in with Julius and guess that it's gonna be a 1992-93 release based on the strong trend of going in tour order that has developed. Fine with me. Make it another LA show I attended and I'll be happy enough :-) (Although later shows were more interesting and I'd bet there's a fairly strong drift toward a 1993 show if they are indeed releasing from this tour). Others' mileage WILL vary, I'm sure :-))

Well, Brad mentioned a few weeks ago about "swapping horses" so it may be not from 92/93. Having said that, everything's good for me EXCEPT the Xplugged.

The Apollo was at Bruce 's insistence since it was so fresh. Then they mixed up the first two by accident.
VALENTINE'S DAY IN SEPTEMBER Archive Series returns with a Devils & Dust tour standout After a summer lull, Bruce Springsteen's archive download series is back, leaping forward two decades for the release of Columbus, July 31, 2005, one of the finest performances on the Devils & Dust solo tour.
Springsteen's 24-song setlist at the Schottenstein Center's Value City Theatre is a doozy and loaded with true rarities, from the set-opening world premiere of "Lift Me Up" to one of but six known performances of Tunnel of Love’s closing masterpiece "Valentine's Day," preceded by its TOL emotional companion, "When You're Alone." And that's just the beginning. Columbus also features the tour premiere of "Back in Your Arms" on electric piano, piano readings of "For You" and "Lost in the Flood," the Born in the U.S.A. outtake "Cynthia," and "State Trooper" among numerous highlights. It's available today on Brucespringsteen.net, powered by Nugs.net.
So much for MTV Plugged!
theys witched from a Joad show
big surprise BTX rumor was false
Intel sources need to be vetted very well.
I love this new release. I have to admit, I'm a little sad they jumped Joad...but they'll come back to it. Not upset at all that they leapfrogged 92/93.
glad to see how all those useless speculation about Tour Order now will end

Rumors, Speculation and Innuendo make for interesting conversations over the ole picket fence.
