great looking set..

love the Promise stuff in there. and the wide mix of every thing is mind boggling. hope it sounds as great as it looks.

makes you wonder what the last two have in store.

the thought of his entire catalog and all the songs he can do at the drop of a hat is crazy.

Great stuff again desa - many thanks

Thundercrack sign bearer should get a bloody medal!

My feeling is that he'll stick with this pick 'n' mix format for the last two shows as he seems to be having a lot of fun with them and they are going down well - just hope there are some great signs in Kilkenny.

But then what do I know - I thought Lance Armstrong was just a good cyclist

That's all folks. Show is over. Another great setlist.

Unfortunately I can't be with you on Saturday to do the setlist for Kilkenny 1. But I'll back on Sunday.

Until then: Thanks for tuning in and a good night to you all.

That's awesome....

Didn't one of our own SPLer's kids get that a few tours back?

Then later signed it too. If I remember right.

A better show than Cardiff, in my opinion.

Excellent venue.  Sound quality was top shelf.  Not sure I've heard sound that good for a Springsteen band show before.

For me, he was in better spirits than the night before.  I think when you've been to a few shows, you can tell when he's fully locked in - and last night he was definitely locked in from the start.

I couldn't really fault any of the show up through Wrecking Ball.  Has to be one of the most consistently great opening dozen songs I've seen him do.  No filler, no bullshit.  It was one long highlight reel, but a personal highlight would have to be Something in the Night - he was smack dab in the zone for that one.

Totally agree about the sound, possibly the best acoustics I have ever heard at a venue.

Personally, I thought it was a very good show rather than great one. My view could possibly be coloured by (a) being up in the Gods in block 300 (b) I don’t like Thundercrack (heinous I know) and not that fond of Gotta get that feeling  (c) the unrealistic expectation level and  (d) having half of Spain on stage during DitD was not my idea of fun.

OK, I admit it; I’m a grumpy old miserable git who should maybe stay at home.  However, I though 41 Shots was fantastic (usually always is) and If I Should Fall Behind was nearly perfect, marred only by the stupid idiots who felt compelled to shout inane comments during the whole performance.

Strangely, the people I spoke to who had been to Cardiff seemed to think that Leeds was not as good. His voice did crack a couple of times and he didn’t seem to have the same energy levels as previous shows I have been to.

This was my 6th show of this leg (Stockholm 1 &2, Wembley, Paris, Monchengladbach, and Leeds) and personally, I still think Monchengladbach beats Leeds hands down in terms of performance.

Sound 10/10, performance 8.5/10 and setlist 8/10

Leeds 10/10 (must be the friendliest and most happening city in the UK at the moment).

Great couple of days ...

Super venues, good company, strong performances, wild setlists....

Didn't get either of my two holy grails ( Kitty's Back / Price You Pay) which would have just topped off the tour for me, but this has been a fantastic few weeks

Essex Boy Taper got his ( Thundercrack) and was seen to be somewhat moist eyed!

Will be very decent Essex Boy Recordings (EBR) on Dime within a couple of weeks.

London drinks soon to chew this all over - I'll get something in the diary.

Blessed Day

Never saw a sign for Hungry Heart so would query that as a sign request.

Great show, but nowhere near the total greatness of the night before.

Not at all impressed with the venue, felt the band were too big in numbers, but it would suit someone like Elton John who is due there.  Sound no better or worse than anywhere else.

Highlight for me, was Bruce not accepting what appeared to be a Leeds United Scarf

What a show, everything lined up, superb sound quality, rip roaring set, unbelievable intensity in the arena, great to see everyone in the seats up from the start, I was just behind the pit in a perfect position front and centre, when Bruce came to the advanced stage, I have some superb video footage of the Hungry Heart crowd surfing, 10ave, full renditions of If I should fall behind and TR plus GTGTF and Thundercrack, I'll have to find a way to post them, I thought the DITD family were hilarious, I think they were english asians, Bruce couldn't get over how many were on stage, that was great fun, I loved the way the Dad shook hands with everyone as they were playing mid song, brilliant stuff, Stevie couldn't stop laughing, they just kept coming! I was at Cardiff Tuesday and I honestly didn't think I would see a better show, but this really was very special, with four premiers, Local Hero was great as was Secret Garden but for me the real revelation was the blistering guitar solo during This Depression which was fantastic. I have no idea how a 62 yr old (nearly 63) can sustain this level of physical exersion, I'm 51 and I could hardly walk having stood for 5 hours. Really looking to Kilkenny now, this will be the first time in a long time that I have saw four consecutive shows and I truly believe I'm seeing him at the peek of his powers.

Just a footnote, bumped into the guy who was featured in Springsteen & I who got upgraded at MSG, he never had a ticket for the show, we were scrambling around trying to buy one 2 hrs before showtime, I took a photo of him and the American lady who had requested TV Movie in Cardiff! Not sure if he ever did get in !

Hey Leeds has always been a friendly city unless of course you come dressed in a MUFC shirt and then you deserve what you get Ha!

Seriously, for music events at any rate I reckon most of England, maybe outside of London, always produces a real friendly vibe.

yes!! I was starting to worry that no one taped these last already legendary concerts. the European dates haven't been covered bootleg-wise satisfactory so far (no Sweden boots, no second night in Turku...)

Her and me we headed south...

I know u are in the minority posting the above. The show was a very close 2nd yo man city last year and the best uk shoe of 2013. Great arena,  not a bad seat on the house, great sound and leeds council ensured everyone found it with no problem. Well done bruce and leeds too!,

I drop the needle and pray
