Well I hope not, for your sake Ivan.

She said last night she read those letters...
And they made her feel one hundred years old...

The Atlanta show was everything Raleigh wasn't. Something was obviously very different last night for Bruce.

I was on the lawn with my son (quite a reasonable price for these tickets) - far from the action. It seemed to me like the stage setup was a bit different for these outdoor venues. Bruce only ventured out into the crowd once (during Tenth Ave). There was no crowd surfing tonight.

Yes, the shows was a little short, but they made up for it ten other ways. There is a noise ordinance for this venue. Maybe they did not want to break it.

That being said, this was a set list I used to only dream about.

They definitely sound checked something different. I did not recognize the tune and it did not get played at the show, but it sounded good.

Bruce confessed early on that The River was on his mind. He might have dashed some hopes in the audience by not playing the title track, but we've all heard that one before. I was excited by all the other possibilities and Bruce DID NOT disappoint.

Independence Day way just brilliant to hear and such a surprise in the set. I love Tough Than the Rest. It sounded great. Cadillac Ranch and Ramrod were the icing on the cake. Drive All Night made my night and then I was proud to teach my son the words to Highway to Hell.

The band was in top form and the sound crew was almost at 100%. I think there was a blip of feedback once in the show.

Get this recording, people! This was a strange venue for Bruce in Atlanta, but we definitely got an above average show. One of the most memorable I've seen here.

Sound check song was 'all or nothin' played it thru 3 or 4 times. It was one hell of show, worth the ticket for drive, Indy & point blank, that said gotj & seeds were also fantastic.

note for Rick; Bruce was singing drive to patti at one point, looking fwd to how u will woo her! If I bump into her in FL or Tampa then I will ensure I pass on your details!
