Another familiar form of infixation is expletive infixation, as in absofuckinglutely, where the infix serves to intensify the expression. Less rude is absobloodylutely, and milder still but retaining the structure is absoposilutely, which borrows posi from positively.

Why thank you good sir......

Why is he going back here for a third show on the 11th????

Kind of weird isn't it?

How far apart are the two?

Sorry....I don't know much about the geography of over there..

Just a small bay between us you american.

Oh and HK-arena is the alternative place for the world hockey championships if something happens, they're keeping ice ready all the time so I'll get a lot of laughs from the people with just slippers on and wondering why it's so cold

And also the smallest place he's played in.. what? 10 000 people at most.

Ivan said it yesterday...

I for one...being skipped the last 5 years would love a full album show.

And would die if it turned out to be one of the first 4...

But sitting here watching the  same set list go up over and over is pretty yawnish at best

I was lucky to get The Wild and The River shows at MSG, I'm not interested in getting BTR, Darkness or BITUSA at all... if he did Greetings or TOL it could be OK, but I think that's almost impossible here in Europe.

But apart from the full albums he's not changing any of the other songs either... maybe one or two each show, and the encore it's getting really repetitive and tedious...

Way better show then first night. Also sound was soooo much better. The sound yesterday was big big Big BIG shit (hope you read this soundman).

No kid singing during Waitin. No girl during Dancing. But there was a kid playing guitar during Dancing. Cool kid 8-9 years old.

The Darkness set was fantastic. Man, Roy played like hell during Racing.

Tonights show had a good vibe. Now i want more.

Oh... You should have seen Tibet during TR Me and all people around him were pretty sure he liked that song

Why was the sound so bad last night vs tonight? Didn't they do a sound check last night??

That's like the third time I heard the sound sucked last night...

And the real question is Did Tibet sway or wave ?????

No idea why sound was so different. But yesterday it sucked! Probably too much complaints?

Tibet.. Mmm... It looked like a swaying wave

Oh also big congrats at security. You fucked big time today, twice in a row.  How difficult can it be to get 1000 well behaving (!) fans into the staduim. Everybody so nicely lined up in row for hours. First 500 were okay. Next 500 were mixed with a flood of people coming from the trainstation and a stupid guard who let the third 500 go in at the same time. Luckily Graham stepped in.

How well they do saturday 11th?

Afterwards Graham told me: "they insisted on doing it themselves, and when they fuck up they turn to us".

Lovely song.

BTR 1st night, Darkness second night. WOW, I would kill for that!

However in general he needs to shake up the encores a little I reckon.

They are enjoyable ofcourse but it'd be great if he threw in a rare one ot 2...either a slower one straight up (like he did with The Promise in Oslo) or a rocker further on.

There are sooooo many options...

Cheers,

Hazy

I was in the second row of 500 and I knew since the morning that we we re goning in simultaneusly with the third 500, a security girl had told me so.

If you think that's fucked up you should come to italy and see...

Anyway Darkness album was a jem.

No kid singing during Woasd and no BITUSA songs in the main set make the rest.

This was my first show since 2009, and Bruce has sold his soul to the devil, otherwise I don't know how he does it: somehow he managed to transform a 60K people stadium with a crowd as warm as a glaciar, into a big party concert in a small theatre. God bless him, and as John Steward said is just great to be at the recieving end of this beautiful gift...

OK, here goes. I know I'm going to get blown away but am saying this anyway (speaking after having been to last night's show). I can't believe the comments of some of the people on this board. It's been said many times before, not least by the man himself, but Bruce is playing to the people who have come to see him. He is not playing for the benefit of people following set lists or listening to boots (however much we gratefully receive them). I am sure I'm among the majority of the audience who only get the chance to go to one show of the tour. In this case I couldn't make any of the UK dates and so decided it was time to experience an overseas show. My one show of the tour and I wasn't disappointed, As has been said elsewhere he never fails to deliver. It was my twelfth show over the years and still saw at least 4 songs I hadn't see live before. As well as the complete performance of Darkness. Of course it would be nice to see the encores shaken up a bit but let's face it, that's what most of the audience are there to see. For every fanatic there are more who have gone along with partners and who only know a small number of songs. For them to leave without having heard any of those would be a disappointment.

Right, got that off my chest - flame away....

PS First time in Stockholm - beautiful city!

That's what the board is about...comments and opinions from everyone on all things BS, including needs, wants, wishes etc etc. All comments are valid. And that includes you, so no flaming from me.

Really glad you enjoyed the show. It was a bloody good one to chose as your one show, with all of Darkness played you sure got a great one. You were spoiled.

I'm not sure I really give a shit about the casual fan though.

I guess that's given him the freedom to do what he wants, keep recording and tour often and long. It is a balance he has to strike I suppose but doesn't mean I gotta like it.

Cheers,

Hazy

I totally agree! I think Bruce struck a good balance between pleasing the people coming for the hits & beer and the somewhat obsessed people following around from town to town. Second night in Stockholm were a night for the reasonable but dedicated fans. For fans like me playing the Darkness album was a true gift.

Like you when he comes around to the North West United States...

Last 5 years 1....yes 1 time...Portland this tour....(Didn't get to go)Granted getting the 70+ bucks out of my wife for the ticket is like trying to take down T-Rex with a spitball shooter. She understands the passion that runs so deep and knows it can't be fought or messed with in any way shape or form!!!

All Some of us have is the sitting here watching the set list and seeing what's been played.

And as you yourself even said it would be nice to see new or rare or even the encores be messed with a little.IT WOULD BE.I Stated it was yawnish seeing the same thing  pop up time after time. It is....No lie about it. And seeing the repeated stuff go up over and over on here doesn't mean it's yawnish or dull at the show it's self. Because I know it isn't. He does play for the fans that come out. As he always has.

I know the show themselves are awesome....

Mainly posting on the set list thread here is our way...The ones who arnt there that night to get together have fun and just bullshit....

Not flaming your post or you....

And I'm sorry if what I posted upset you.

Glad you had a great show for the only one of the tour....Looks like you picked a good one to be at. I would love

LOVE

to get a full album show. And if it was one of the first 4....

I'd be done.....

Mainly due to location, me and my buds have been lucky enough to see Bruce a lot more than most.  That being said, I love the rarities as much as the next guy but as most of you know by now.  I'll go to as many shows as I possibly can.  Full album shows are so cool live. And you never know what Bruce will add to a set-list, he's always changing something up and it may be the one song you've always wanted to see live.  There is always a new memory to take from a show no matter how many you've seen before.  And last but not least and this had been spoken about since the Rising Tour.  You never know when its all going to end.  Lately that's taken on a new and more immediate meaning with the passing of Danny and Clarence.

In closing, I would have loved to have been there.
