Hi there

Back when Tracks was released, bootleg labels like E Street released their own box, like "Deep Down From The Vaults", with mostly unreleased material (until then)

Of course, I don't know about the bootleg labels plans, but I'd like a CC reissue of the Nassau shows, completed with the 28 show in a box like the ones they're released in the past

It would be great if some of the uber people or fan labels should release some River stuff to somehow celebrate the box too

I suggest a reload of the River Project to Jungleland and ABMS, as it's an old project and maybe not widely available now... (I'm missing most of the shows) , but maybe some others can contribute too to a River celebration box

Any ideas? What do you think?

The Lost Masters were released when they knew Tracks was coming...as was DDITV and if I recall correctly, Genuine Tracks.  Last ditch attempt to make some money on them...avoided getting upstaged by INC.

The problem with the River box is that the box is not in danger of upstaging anything the bootleggers have (how could they have Bruce's 2015 vocals on top of 1980 songs?).  They clearly don't have any video that could come close to Tempe - and any video that does exist is pretty much in everyone's hands by now.

I see.. I didn't thought of it from that point of view...

I think I've read somewhere there are more tapes that the ones released on the Lost Masters, and belonging to the same batch from the LM came. And Brucebase still lists some tracks are "private"...

So that material will continue be hoarded in the hands of a handful people. And the only option for them to be released by bootleggers or ubers is that there will be some release by Bruce himself that would make those items worthless...
