Bruce Springsteen on Broadway: Daily $75 ticket lottery announced

 

Hey Bruce Springsteen fans without tickets, all hope for seeing "Springsteen on Broadway" is not lost.

A  limited amount of $75 lottery tickets will be available online for every performance of "Springsteen on Broadway," staring with the first Tuesday, Oct. 3 preview at the Walter Kerr Theatre, the theater has announced.

Twenty-six $75 tickets will be available for each show. Fans can enter the lottery up to a week prior to the performance and the drawings will occur 24 hours prior to each show. 

The lottery is underway now at www.luckyseat.com.

"Entries for the lottery for each performance will be accepted until 10 a.m. est the day before the performance," according to www.luckyseat.com. "Winner and non-winner notifications will be sent at approximately 12 p.m. est the day prior to the performance via email. Winners will also receive a text SMS message (if mobile number is furnished provided the entrant also checks the text consent box). If you didn't receive notification via email, you can use our result checker which will update at approximately 12 p.m. est"

"Tickets must be purchased online with a credit card by 4 p.m. est the day prior to the performance using the purchase link in your winner's notification email. Winning tickets not purchased by 4 p.m. est are forfeited. While every effort will be made to seat pairs together, there is a chance that pairs may be split up. Winners who require accessible seating should contact us at help@luckyseat.com for assistance.Beginning today, the lottery will offer five performances at a time for entry. Entry closes at 10 a.m. est the day prior to the performance. Winner and non-winner notifications will be sent at 12 p.m. est the day prior via email or SMS. Only one entry is permitted per person. Repeated entries and invalid email addresses will be discarded. Tickets must be purchased online with a credit card by 4 p.m. est the day prior to the performance using the purchase link and unique code in a notification message. Tickets not claimed by 4 p.m. p.m. est  the day prior to the performance are forfeited. Lottery tickets will be void if resold. (Seat locations may vary per performance.) "

Lucky Seat, a component of Jujamcyn Theaters, has similar lotteries for the Broadway hits, "The Book of Mormon," "Kinky Boots," and "Hamilton." Jujamcyn owners the Kerr Theatre.       

Ticketmaster released batch of tickets on Wednesday, Sept. 27. "Springsteen on Broadway" officially opens on Thursday, Oct. 12.

So you are saying there's a chance...

Im surprised he is giving you 24 hours notice of winners. Thats odd, usually rush tickets are distributed day of show. Also, I dont see anything that says the winner of the lottery has to be the one who attends...

all of this works against me. ��
