We are probably less than 1% of the audience. The  average punter who takes festivals in their  stride would have loved Sunday. I have spent the last two days trying not to prick happiness bubbles as  friends have thanked me for encouraging them to go and see Bruce. Can't really say nah.. it was a 2/10!

It is not the casual concert goer who brings their kid(s) along in the hope of having them publically sacrificed on the altar of WOASD.  How many casual fans do you know who queue up for hours , often days, so that they will be near enough to  the front of stage in the hope that  Bruce will notice them and lift their little Johnny/Janet up onto the stage? Bruce’s kids are now grown up and he is obviously feeling broody. Hence his obsession with having 10 years on stage like performing monkeys and singing out of key.  This is kindergarten rock in its worst form. Unfortunately, it is the so called diehards who are in part to blame because it is they who bring their children to these shows.

We should lay off blaming the casual fans and start realising that we, the so called diehards,  are as much to blame for any perceived poor quality setlists.

...and don't get me onto the subject of diehards and their bloody request signs.

well put Mando, well put, though I know people who brought their kids up on stage...I also know people who leave the shows early to already line up for the following one...nice people but when it comes to Bruce and their kids...well...they know my opinion as I spek it out (like I always do)

the song count from multiple shows with three different albums being performed is, of course, enormous but having seen all three albums it feels at the moment like there is nothing else on this tour except the three albums and everything around the albums is kinda "fixed", too

people rave about the Milan show...it was a greatest hits set just like Milan last year, the emotional songs missing and that is the Bruce I love

after Milan I thought a break would hopefully do them good and see Wembley: it did! Bruce may do whatever he wants and play the Born in the USA album again and again but throw in TWO more emotional songs/unusual songs etc. and most people I know who are currently unhappy with the shows and setlists would be happy again

it's not that hard...so Bruce stop the autopilot mode!! and hopefully never ever again play those big stadiums!
