I‘ve been dreading getting BitUSA ever since the 1st Stockholm show. Not as bad as I was fearing. A bit like the idea of going to the dentist – once you are there it is not as painful as you expected.  Never been a big fan of Cover Me and I have heard Dancing enough times to last me 12 tours. Having said that I really enjoyed I’m Goin Down, Downbound Train and My Hometown.

I never understand why people queue for days to get within 'sign grabbing distance' and then pop up with bits of cardboard requesting Johnny B Goode, Burning Love and Lucille. Have these people never heard of The Price You Pay, The Promise, I Wish I Were Blind or any number of his self penned songs that he rarely plays.

The so called Golden circle was a joke and took up half the pitch; yet another way of squeezing a few more Euros from fans. The sound started off well but seemed to deteriorate as the night went on.

Highlight of the night was managing to prise a beer out of Hazardfromharvard.

Highlight of the weekend was missing my 1st London show since November 25 1975. By all accounts HRC was the one to miss - a case of getting to the dentist and finding Christian Szell waiting for you.

Overall 7/10

I agree from start to end (vote included). BitUSA is a great album (I do believe in what I just wrote!), but we have heard those songs too many times. Too many bootlegs, too many requests - it was the fourth time I heard I'm Goin' Down, while I have got The Promise once and Racing twice. Not a fair deal.

Most of the people who scramble for requests must have something wrong with them - I saw just one mobile phone asking for The Price You Pay, while there were TWO cardboard signs for Outlaw Pete, one for Rocky Ground and one for Secret Garden. I will not comment further. Definetily Bruce rejects the idea of doing The Price You Pay - in Padova there were two requests, one right in front of the stage. Only a request by a boy singing WoaSD could do the trick.

The 7/10 mark is accurate at the end.
