The SPL is like a roadside bar - it can be a tough place to hang out at. Very little is sacred or politically correct here, especially in Off-Topic. Brace yourself and bring some extra layers of thick skin.
The Moderators here are free to use their personal judgment and usually give some warning before the ax falls on you. Don't be surprised when you get bounced out of here for contributing nothing.
Also:
1. Don't hijack threads in the general forum or tech forums.
2. Don't attack others. Humor is fine, but not when it's merely mean-spirited.
3. Posts judged by moderators to break policy will be deleted.
4. Banning will occur if the policies are repeatedly broken.
These rules don't apply to the Off-Topic forum, but try to show a little restraint.
