Thanks to the amazing generosity of ABMSGuardian, I am now in possession of a 500GB portable USB hard drive that is chock full of all kinds of goodies:

2009 WOAD Tour - 20+ shows, many with multiple versions
The Complete Prodigal Son remasters
The Complete EV2 remasters
The Flynn Compilations (Rising, VFC, Devils and Dust, Seeger, and Magic tours)
The Complete SPL Live Series
The Complete Uber Series (so far)

Overall, it's almost 350GB worth of stuff, many including artwork.

I would like to propose a USB HARD DRIVE VINE. Send me your portable USB hard drive (or do what I did and buy one online and have it shipped directly to me), I'll put the stuff on it and send it back to you. Then you do the same for someone else, etc.

I don't know anything about setting up a vine, and frankly I'm not sure how many are interested in this. SO FOR NOW - please send me a PM if you are interested. Include your location and indicate if you are willing/able to make additional copies for someone else. If there is enough interest, I will post a vine structure with more detailed instructions.

Some other things to consider:

1. Buying a portable USB drive. Don't get the cheapest thing you can find. Do some research before you purchase. I bought a 500GB Seagate FreeAgent Go portable drive for $120 from Amazon.com, with free shipping.

2. Shipping costs. I used Paypal to reimburse ABMSGuardian for the cost of return shipping. If this becomes a vine, you'll need to work out how to handle that with whomever you are vining/branching with, etc.

So again, PM me if you want to be a part of this. If enough interest is out there, I'll set up a vine structure.

EDIT: Looks like I posted this in the wrong forum. Let me be clear - the files on the USB hard drive are mostly in FLAC form. You'll need to be able to deal with those files to participate in this vine.

OK here are the rules and initial vine structure.

1. A portable USB hard drive must be shipped to your seeder. (If you don't already own a USB hard drive, a great way to do this is to purchase one online and have it shipped directly to your seeder.) Please do not buy a piece of junk drive, it will only make things difficult. Make sure the drive has a minimum of 350GB capacity. Here's a link to the one I bought, which was rated highly for the price:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FWGJIY/ref=ox_ya_oh_product

2. Contact your seeder via PM to exchange email addresses and shipping info, etc. Let them know when to expect the USB drive in the mail.

3. Your seeder will transfer the files onto your hard drive and ship it back to you. You are responsible to pay for return shipping. Make arrangements for how to do this via PM or email. I recommend Paypal.

4. When you receive your USB hard drive, check to make sure everything is OK before offering to seed for others.

5. Because of the time involved in transferring all this data, each branch must only be willing to seed to ONE other branch. If you are willing to seed to more than one branch, please add an open spot on your branch using the same numbering convention and mark it "OPEN SPOT - SIGN UP HERE"

***IF YOU WANT TO SIGN UP FOR THIS VINE, PLEASE COPY THE ORIGINAL VINE STRUCTURE INTO YOUR POST AND FILL IN THE APPROPRIATE SPACE. PLEASE USE THE SAME NUMBER/LETTER CONVENTIONS.***

Apologies, no disrespect intended. All of this would not be possible without ABMSGuardian's initial offer...

If Tarheel is MIA, I will fill in for him for Blaze and Noise, or Duane can skip Tarheel and go straight to Blaze and Noise, and I'll pick up Tarheel later... either way.

Otherwise, keep up the good vineing guys!
